My name is Marisa, I am a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology with a degree in Fashion Business Management. At FIT, I specialized in product development and minored in Economics. From August 2017 - March 2020 I worked in Product Development, Design, and Production within the Women's Fashion Industry at various companies.

I have continued my education towards a Sustainable Design Entrepreneur certificate from FIT, as well as a Small Business Essential certificate. What can I say, I love to expand my knowledge!

I want to spread awareness about climate change, how the fashion industry impacts the environment, and how we can all come together to make a positive change.

I also want to provide resources to make those changes easier for everyone. That's where my hand painted upcycled denim jackets come in. I want to practice what I preach and create something that you can connect with, something that has meaning to you that you'll want to hold onto forever. Denim jackets are a classic item in almost everyone's wardrobe.

I have always had an interest at heart about conserving the environment and looking out for one another; how I can use my knowledge and personal experiences to share with you here in hopes of creating a better future for those to come.
